Assistant Education Ranger - Parties
The Assistant Education Ranger (parties) is
responsible to the Senior Education Ranger for all aspects of the
planning and delivery of weekend educational events at
Parkridge
Centre, particularly Parties. Emphasis for all work is on ensuring
high quality customer
care throughout the Centres' services and facilities. The work
includes planning,
publicising and delivery of events, and organising staff and
volunteers for these events.
The Weekend Party Organiser is for 15 hours per week, the hours
comprise of Saturday and Sunday, occasional weekdays. The vacancy
will be based at Parkridge Centre, Brueton Park, Solihull B91 3HW.
Salary for this position is £8.24 per hour.
The work will involve preparing, marketing
and delivering children's parties with an educational theme and
leading activities both indoors and out.
The post reports to the Trust's Senior
Education Officer.
The closing date for receipt of completed

GIS Officer
The Habitat Biodiversity Audit (HBA) maps
habitats across Warwickshire, Coventry and Solihull. The project is
funded by a partnership including eight local authorities, Natural
England and the Environment Agency.
We have an opportunity for a GIS Survey
Officer, 35 hours/week to join our team, providing high quality
professional mapping service to support the HBA and Wildlife Sites
projects. You will preferably hold a first degree with a
significant GIS component, or significant work experience, and
preferably knowledge of using MapInfo Professional. Ideally you
will also have had some experience in delivering a GIS support
service
professionally and Phase 1 surveys. The post will be based at the
HBA office, hosted by Warwickshire Museum Field Services,
Warwick.
Starting salary will be in the range
£17,250 - £18,300 per annum, depending on experience.
Closing date 15th March 2010, with

and at organised events and shows. Most shows and event work
is at weekends during the spring to autumn season.
We also operate year-round on both weekdays and weekends at other
venues within a radius of approximately one hours travel from your
home.
